SkillsUSA Maryland Leadership and Skills Conference

The SkillsUSA Maryland State Championships is the state-level competition for high school and post-secondary students who are enrolled in Career and Technology Education (CTE) programs. 

Every year at the State Championship more than 1,000 Maryland CTE students compete in over 90 occupational and leadership skill events.  The 1st place winners qualify to represent the state of Maryland at the National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC) in Louisville, Kentucky the week of June 24-29, 2019. 

SkillsUSA Maryland Professional Members have online access to the latest competition Technical Standards.  Go to skillsusa.org and click the “Join” button at the top of the home page to access this information.  It’s very important to share contest Technical Standards with all students preparing to compete in local, regional, state and national competitions.
