ATTENTION 8TH GRADE STUDENTS!
STEM Academy applications for the 2017 – 2018 school year are due to your middle school guidance office by April 14, 2017.
The STEM (science, engineering, technology, and mathematics) Academy at Worcester Technical High School provides in-coming 9th grade students the opportunity to participate in focused technical programs of study. Combined with rigorous academic course work in mathematics and science, students prepare for post-secondary education leading to STEM related career fields in biomedical science, business management and finance, pre-engineering, interactive media production, and renewable energies. Enrollment in the programs is limited. Students are accepted to STEM Academy programs through a competitive application process in the spring of their 8th grade middle school year.
More information can be found under the STEM Academies link under the Programs and Courses tab on the home page.
